Mission

WHEN champions health through environmental action.


Vision

We have a responsibility for the stewardship of our health and our planet to protect against contamination from chemicals, pesticides, and toxic waste through a toxin-free, clean environment.

 

Action

In recognizing the nexus between health and environment, 

the Women's Health & Environmental Network (WHEN) is dedicated to:

• Educating about this interrelationship;
• Researching the effects of this link upon women and their families;
• Advocating for policies that minimize or eliminate the exposure of harmful substances at the local, state and federal levels.
• Developing responses to minimize harm to health and the environment.

 

WHEN is a non-profit (501c3) organization located in the Philadelphia region since 1997.
